Contradications
This drug is not to be given in QT prolongtion, recent MI episode, uncompensated heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias requiring treatment with class IA and III anti-arrhythmic drugs (drugs that prolong QT interval).Side effects
Side effects of this drug can include asthenia (abnormal weakness), headache, GI disturbances, drowsiness, agitation, akathesia (restlessness and urge to move), dizzness, dystonia (abnormal muscle tone), extra-pyramidal syndrome, hypotonia (abnormally low muscle tone), tremor, and abnormal vision.Medicines containing ziprasidone
