cilostazole

Cilostazole is used for the improvement of maximal and pain-free walking distances in patients with intermittent claudication (a condition in which cramping pain in the leg is induced by exercise, typically caused by obstruction of the arteries). 
 

Contradications

Cilostazole is contraindicated to use in patients with severe kidney impairment, unstable angina, congestive heart failure, predisposition to bleeding, and a recent heart attack. 
 

Side effects

Headache, diarrhea, ecchymosis (accumulation of blood underneath the skin causing discoloration; bruise), angina, chest pain, GI upset, rash and pruritus (severe itching) are commonly reported side effects of Cilostazole.
