It can also be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, angioedema, asthma, Crohn’s disease, and dermatitis.
Betamethasone can be taken by mouth, injected into a muscle, or applied to the skin topically in cream, lotion, or liquid forms.
