Contradications
- Patients who have a known allergy to Sofosbuvir or other medicines in the same class should not take this treatment.
- Given to the higher risk of the patient's condition worsening, Sofosbuvir is not advised for use in individuals with a known history of Pancreatitis.
- Because of the increased risk of the patient's condition worsening, the combination of Sofosbuvir, peginterferon alfa and ribavirin is not advised for use in patients having a history of autoimmune hepatitis.

Some patients taking this medicine may experience blood dyscrasias (blood disorders), anorexia, weight loss, insomnia, depression, anxiety, agitation, headache, dizziness, migraine, attention disturbances, blurred vision, cough, stomach upset or rash.
