This drug is to be given to treat urinary frequency, urgency and urge incontinence (sudden and strong urge to urinate).
Contradications
This drug should not be given in severe uncontrolled hypertension (systolic blood pressure =180 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure =110 mmHg), in liver impairment, in kidney impairment, (eGFR lt; 15ml/min/1.73m2), or hemodialysis.Side effects
This drug can cause tachycardia (increased heart rate), urinary tract infections.
