Contradications
Acute pulmonary insufficiency (insufficient pumping by the heart causing backflow of blood to heart), respiratory depression (breathing difficulties), sleep apnea (trouble breathing while asleep), severe mental health issues, and Myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disorders). Severe liver impairment and as monotherapy to treat depression or anxiety associated with depression.
Side effects
Following are the side effects: Drowsiness, upset stomach, difficulty urinating, muscle weakness, ataxia (degenerative nervous system disorder), confusion, visual disturbances, rash, impaired alertness and dexterity, inability to empty bladder during urination, changes in libido and headache. In rare cases patients may develop jaundice, blood disorders and dependence.
