Contradications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients suffering from severe renal (kidney) or hepatic (liver) dysfunction, have active peptic ulcer (sores on the inner lining of stomach), history of recurrent peptic ulceration (sores on the inner lining of stomach) or gastrointestinal bleeding, asthma (lung disorder characterized by wheezing, breathlessness, cough), aspirin allergy, dyspepsia (indigestion), severe heart failure, bleeding diathesis (tendency to bleed), and proctitis (inflammation of the lining of inner rectum).
Side effects
Patients administered with this medicine may experience gastrointestinal intolerance, rash (change in color and texture of skin), ulcerative stomatitis (oral erosions and ulcers), hypersensitivity (allergic) reaction, nephrotoxicity (toxicity in kidneys), abnormal liver function, neurological (brain)/dermatological (skin, hair, nails)/hematological (blood) reactions, jaundice (yellowing of skin and mucous membranes), hepatitis (inflammation of liver), and blurred vision.
