Contradications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with history of yeast infections, kidney diseases and myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease).
Side effects
As side effects, this medication can cause GI upset, inflammation of oesophagus, oesophageal ulcers, allergy, rash, photosenstivity, liver dysfunction, blood disorders, anxiety, headache, hypertension, dry mouth, back pain, and superinfections. There are also reports of serious skin infections, tooth discoloration, and enamel hypoplasia.
