This medicine is used to provide relief from mild to moderate pain experienced in osteoarthritis (bone and joint disease), dysmenorrhoea (painful periods) and for dental pain.
Contradications
- Patients with a known hypersensitivity to Dexibuprofen or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medicines should not take it.
- Contraindicated in people with problems such as rhinitis, urticaria or asthma.
- Not recommended for people who have had bypass Surgery for the Coronary Artery (CABG)
- Contraindicated in patients who have just had cardiac surgery.
- Dexibuprofen is not indicated in individuals with peptic ulcer or other gastrointestinal bleeding problems.
