Contradications
This medication is contraindicated in lincomycin sensitivity, history of Inflammatory bowel disease (disease of the intestine) or antibiotic-associated colitis (inflammation of the colon)
Side effects
Patients using this medication may experience dry skin, dermatitis, diarrhea, cervicitis (inflammation of the cervix) and pruritis (itching)

- Washing with scented soaps, or douches while taking this medication should also be avoided. This might irritate the area.
- Try to avoid the cream contacting the eyes. If this does happen, wash with cold running water immediately. If your eye still feels red, or burns/itches, contact your doctor.
How to apply:
- Insert the applicator (with the medicine in it) into the vagina (as far as it would be comfortable)
- Push the plunger slowly, to release the cream.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after use.
- Either use another applicator the next time, or rinse this applicator with warm water and soap.
- Try to lie down after applying it to keep the medicine in place
