This medicine is used in lower respiratory tract infections, upper and lower urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, septicaemia (blood poisoning caused by bacteria), bacteraemia (bacteria in blood), and neutropenia (decrease in white blood cells called neutrophils).
This medicine may cause nausea, vomiting, allergy, diarrhoea (loose motion), injection pain, increased liver enzymes and creatinine, colitis (inflammation of colon), taste disturbance, rarely superinfections or nephritis (inflammation of kidneys). Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
