All parts should be fastened and properly connected.The cuff should be at the same height as the heart. Rough estimate is 2-3cm above the elbow. Screw valve clockwise to shut air release valve. Place the stethoscope into ears. Place the chest piece of the stethoscope underneath the cuff.Screw valve counter-clockwise to release valve slowly. First audible pulse reading is the systolic pressure and last audible pulse is diastolic pressure.Storage
