Store this medicine in a cool, dry place, away from heat.

Avoid this medication if:

• You are allergic to this medicine or its contents.

Consult your doctor:

• If you are pregnant, or breastfeeding.

• If you have a significant medical history, such as diabetes, anemia, HIV, or any blood disorder.
• Inform your doctor if you keep getting yeast infections, and mention the treatment prescribed previously.

• If your symptoms are not improving with this medication within the prescribed time.
• If you have fever, flu-like symptoms, stomach pain, and foul smelling vaginal discharge. This is due to another disease, and a different treatment is required.

Be careful about:

• The use of tampons. This should be avoided, and napkins that are not scented should be used instead.
• Washing with scented soaps, or douches while taking this medication should also be avoided.
• Try to avoid the cream contacting the eyes. If this does happen, wash with cold running water immediately. If your eye still feels red, or burns/itches, call your doctor.

How to apply:

• Lie flat on your back.
• Place your knees close to your chest, to make application easier.
• Insert the applicator (with the medicine in it) into the vagina (as far as it would be comfortable)
• Push the plunger slowly, to release the cream.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after use.
• The cream may also be applied onto the vulva if there is itching or discomfort in that area.

It is best to avoid tampons, or using scented soaps, gels, etc. This is to avoid further irritation. Try to use sanitary napkins that are not scented. Also try keeping the area as clean as possible.

Using this medicine might make a condom less effective. Kindly discuss other forms of contraceptives with your doctor when you are using this medicine.

Can I use this medicine when I am on my period?

Yes, this medication should be used as prescribed, including the days that you are menstruating (period)

What kind of clothes should I wear when I have applied this medicine?

Try to wear loose cotton fabric to avoid irritating the area further.

Can I stop taking this medicine as soon as I feel better?

It is best to continue using this medicine for the time prescribed. Stopping before that may cause the fungal infection to recur.
