Hypromellose
Hypromellose is used as artificial tears to prevent damage to the cornea in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, keratitis, or during gonioscopy procedures. It is also used to moisten hard contact lenses and lubricate artificial eyes. Hypromellose provides immediate relief of dry eye.
In order to preserve the sterility, the dropper should not be allowed to touch any part of the eye or any other surface.
Hypromellose should not be used while wearing lenses.
The lenses should be removed before instillation of the drops and not reinserted earlier than 15 minutes after use.
Use 2-3 drops of hypromellose eye drops as a treatment for eyes three times daily.
Use hypromellose regularly to get the most benefit from it.
Quantity is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Do not increase your quantity or take this product more often than directed.

Side Effects
Vision maybe momentarily blurred after the use of the medicine. Also temporary instance of minor burning/stinging & irritation may occur. Serious allergic reactions to this is very rare. So if any of the side effects of rash, itching/swelling (specifically of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness or trouble breathing; seek for immediate medical attention.
