This medicine is indicated in all dermatoses (any disease of skin) which responds to topical corticosteroid therapy. However, it is not suitable for peri-oral dermatitis (facial rash) and rosacea (visible blood vessels in your face; redness).
Patients using this medication may at times experience burning, itching, irritation, erythema (redness), various other skin reactions, and dryness. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
Pregnancy
This medicine should only be used in pregnancy when clearly needed. Consult your doctor for further advice.
Lactation
The effects of this medicine is undertermined in nursing females. Consult your doctor for further advice.
Precautions
This medicine should be used with extreme caution when being taken in high doses as systemic effects usually results from use of more potent steroids. If local irritation occurs discontinue use. Skin atropy maybe clinically significant after prolong use. Donot use steroid as sole therapy. Avoid prolonged use (limit to 7 days). Risk of visual disturbances. Elderly.
This medicine should not be used on it's own as a monotherapy in primary bacterial infections such as impetigo (skin infection), paroychia (bacterial or fungal nail infection), and erysipelas (bacterial skin infection).
