It is contraindicated in patients with pulmonary insufficiency and respiratory depression. Not
recommended in patients with depression and psychosis.

respiratory insufficiency, renal, and hepatic impairment. Avoid long-term use.
SIDE EFFECTS
The side-effects are drowsiness, unsteadiness, loss of balance, confusion, vertigo, gastrointestinal upset,
visual disturbances, headache, rash, and sexual disturbances. Blood disorders and jaundice are rare side-
effects.
PREGNANCY
Better to avoid during pregnancy, and should only be used when no safer alternative is present.
LACTATION
This medication is contraindicated in lactating females.

This medication is used for treating disorders associated with the stomach and intestines such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, ulcers, bowel infections, etc.
How to take Clidinium?
Use it as prescribed by your health care provider. This medicine is mostly used in combination with other medicines to treat symptoms of disorder. The dosage of this medicine is dependent on the age, condition, and its severity.

Will I have issues swallowing/ eating foods during use of this medicine or experience intestinal pain of any sort?
There are no such significant swallowing/ intestinal issues associated with use of this medicine. Rarely individuals experience intestinal pain because of this medicine however you may have pain due to the intestinal infection (till it lasts).
What are the precautions for taking Clidinium?
• May make you dizzy therefore avoid tasks requiring alertness e.g. driving immediately after taking this medicine • May decrease sweat production therefore avoid warm places and stay dry and cool
Does Clidinium have any effect on pregnancy and lactation?
This medicine should not be used during pregnancy and lactation period as it may have harmful effects.
