Patients using this medicine may experience nausea, drowsiness (excessively sleepy), dizziness (lightheadedness), postural hypotension (change in body position causing low BP), priapism (prolonged erection of penis), hyponatremia (low blood sodium), hepatic (liver) dysfunction, weight loss, nasal congestion, arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat), flu, and skin reactions.
No definite data regarding pregnancy or lactating females is available, therefore; be cautious. Consult your doctor for further advice.

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: epilepsy (abnormal electrical activity in brain), severe hepatic (liver), renal (kidney) and cardiovascular (heart) disease, hyperthyroidism (increased thyroid levels in body), narrow-angle glaucoma (high pressure in eye), and psychosis (loss of contact with reality). Patients using this medicine should be monitored for suicidal tendencies.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with acute Myocardial infarction (heart attack).

This medicine is an antidepressant that belongs to a group of drugs called serotonin receptor antagonists and reuptake inhibitors (SARIs). It works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural chemical (serotonin) in brain

This medicine is not approved for use in children, do not give it to anyone younger than 18 years old without the advice of doctor.
How to relieve dry mouth caused by this medicine?
To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water, or use a saliva substitute.
How long will it take to treat my symptoms?
It may take 2 to 4 weeks before you notice the full effects of this medication. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.
