This medication is used for patients with ocular hypertension (high blood pressure in the eye) or chronic open angle glaucoma (painless condition which can affect your eye due to pressure on a nerve on the optic nerve in the eye).
Transient (temporary) discomfort. Rarely erythema (redness), blurred vision, headache and other effects. Consult your doctor for further information.

Patients who have a history of obstructive airways disease, diabetes, thyrotoxicosis (excess thyroid hormone production and manifestation in the body), Raynaud’s disease (smaller arteries that supply blood to your hands and extremities get narrower), cardiovascular disease (heart and blood vessel related), muscle weakness, corneal disease(transparent part of the eye). Consult your healthcare provider for further details.
This medication is contraindicated in patients with sinus bradycardia (slow regular heartbeat) cardiogenic shock (heart cannot pump enough blood to the brain, kidneys and other vital organs), uncompensated cardiac failure (failure of the heart to pump out or accommodate the normal levels of blood) and soft lenses.
How often should I take this medication as an adult?
You should take 1 drop twice daily as recommended by your doctor.

No, this medication is not recommended in children.
What should I do if I feel no improvement in my symptoms?
Contact the doctor if there is eye pain, changes in vision, no improvement or worsening of condition.
How should I take this medication?
To instill the medication into eyes, tilt your head back, look upward m instill drops into the eye. Close eye and roll the eyeball in all directions. Do not blink for 30 seconds. Apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of the eye for 30 seconds.
