Primary Uses

Indications

This medication is indicated for use in bronchial asthma, pulmonary infections with a bronchospastic component.

Side Effects

The adverse effects of this drug are headache or gastralgia (stomach ache), nausea and slight distal tremors, urticaria (out break of swollen, painful bumps due to an allergic reaction), itching, rash and dermatitis (inflammation of the skin).

Warnings

Pregnancy

Lactation

Please consult your doctor before using this medicine during breastfeeding.

Precautions

Please use this drug with caution in patients with severe heart failure, serious hypertension (high blood pressure), liver and kidney insufficiency, gastric ulcer and hyperthyroidism (increased activity of thyroid).

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated for use in acute myocardial infarction (sudden heart attack), and patients with known hypersensitivity (allergy) to xanthine derivatives.
