Can I have coffee with this medicine?
Do not drink or eat a lot of caffeine-containing products such as coffee, tea, energy drinks, cola, or chocolate. Ciprofloxacin may increase nervousness, sleeplessness, heart-pounding, and anxiety caused by caffeine.
What are the symptoms of an overdose of this medicine?
Ciproxin is not recommended during pregnancy. Consultation is required to avoid unhealthy outcomes.
Ciproxin is contraindicated in nursing females.
Ciproxin should be prescribed with caution to patients with history of tendon disorder, epilepsy (abnormal electrical activity in brain), diabetes, renal (kidney) impairment, G6PD deficiency, and myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease causing muscle weakness). Before using this medicine, risk of bone diseases in adolescents and children should be done.
